His “STRATEGIC” Views
SLOWBama says his “strategice views” were correct, and his visits “deepened his understanding”.
“What happens on a trip like this is, I think, you deepen your understandings,” Obama told FOX News’ Bill Hemmer in London.
“There was a lot of confirmation of my strategies — that we need to get more troops into Afghanistan, and that the Iraqis are willing to take more responsibility … that Iran is a grave threat.”
The only “understanding” SLOWbama deepened is his hand in someone else’s pocketbook. Note that the Iraqis want more responsibility - his defense of his continued - and ignorant lack of grasp of reality towards the facts - does NOT include any mention of the Commanders on the ground.
This trip DOES NOT make him a foreign policy expert, but undoubtedly the ignorant masses will continue thier love affair with his empty oratory and eat up his baked-biscuit skin color.
He said his plan to withdraw combat troops from Iraq within 16 months of taking office is one “I will abide by fully,” though he will take “facts on the ground” into account during that process.
Of course his *perfect* plan will stay in place; SLOWbama will NEVER admit he is wrong. The surge did not work, you stupid uninformed Americans! Only SLOWbama, the Golden (Skinned) Boy knows the real deal!
The “facts” mean nothing, just his arrogant and wanton disregard of reality and the facts. No consideration for the “on the ground” leadership. No sirree!! “TRUST ME! What you feel is MY golden hand in YOUR pocket! Give me the big house so I can teach these ignorant morons in the USA what the REAL DEAL is!”

“Sen. Barack Obama held a private session with a group of about two dozen Iranian-American donors shortly before a fundraiser this month in California after one of the participants said the Obama campaign would hold such a forum if local Iranian-Americans were able to raise $250,000.
The forum — which was not on Obama’s public schedule and was closed to the press … less than a week before Obama’s trip to the Middle East, where the U.S. relationship with Iran is a critical issue.
While such private meetings with well-heeled donors are not out of the ordinary, at least one fundraising pitch for the event was unusual.”
The requirement to have a minimum level of funds raised is the unusual part - generally frowned on by watch groups.
It reeks of “selling” the, uhm, *candidate*, buying votes, and is undoubtedly arrogant.

Leaders Making History
In the past week, there have been two Army leaders - women leaders - with significant links to Fort Bragg / Fayetteville, North Carolina, in the news.
First, Lieutenant General Ann Dunwoody, who has been nominated for her fourth star and promotion to General as Commander of Army Material Command. Gen Dunwoody has made history throughout her career as the “first female leader to xxxxxx” (fill in xxxx’s with several firsts!), though she would simply tell you she just does her job in accord with her training and commitment to the American people.

Second, a high school grad from Fayetteville has been promoted to Major General and assignment as Commander of the Army Nurse Corps. MG XXXXXXX has been party to many significant events throughout her career - see her story in the Fayetteville Observer

Originally voted on in committee on the 4th of July, 1776, the document itself was not “fully” signed until 2August of that year, during the famous signing ceremony many believe occurred on the 4th of July. Not all states or delegates to the Continental Congress approved or signed it at first. It took a while.
Oh, by the way, the War fought over the sprit of this document began in 1775 and lasted until 1782/3 - Seven to Eight Years! Nothing automatic and quick there!
Although the fighting was not entirely over, Yorktown marked the end of any serious British hopes. What followed was a series of withdrawals from the remaining British posts. British troops left Savannah on 11 July 1782, Charleston on 18 December 1782 and finally New York on 25 November 1783. The remaining Loyalists were left with two choices - come to terms with the new conditions in America or leave, with most who did leave going to Canada or the Caribbean. British military efforts turned to resisting the French and Spanish.

Yesterday, Obama Campaign Strategist David Axelrod Said That Obama Will Adjust His Plan For Withdrawal From Iraq Based On The Advice Of Military Commanders:
David Axelrod: “John, with all due respect, on this, your knowledge doesn’t extend far enough. The fact is that, Senator Obama introduced a plan in the United States Senate in January of 2007 that called for a phased withdrawal, with benchmarks for the Iraqi government to meet, that called for strategic pauses, based on the progress on these benchmarks, and advice on the commanders on the ground and he’s always said that he would listen to the advice of commanders on the ground, that that would factor into his thinking. He’s also said we have to be as careful getting out of Iraq as we were careless getting in. So he’s been very consistent on this point.”
Moving to the center … toward an established centrist conservative — McCAIN!

SLOWbama clarified in another interview that he is listening to advisors (not “just” Commanders on the Ground), he would be stupid not too, but that he will pull two brigades per month over 16 months.
So, even if the Commanders on the ground recommend one brigade a month, or every 2 months - whetever - he will stick to his original cut and run “let’s lose this thing” dishonorable, despicable, terrorist supporting and uninformed plan of idiocy.
